Industrial Engineering Manager
Purpose of role:
Lead, coach and manage IE team to setup a productive, reliable and compliant Manufacturing process. Manage department budget and investment (CAPEX) budget.
Areas of responsibility:
• Joint responsible with Manufacturing Manager to ensure capacity is met for manufacturing. Implement changes to constantly meet increased volumes. Establish and upheld accurate time analysis for manufacturing products.
• Responsible to drive productivity improvements for manufacturing. Drive production process improvements initiatives.
• Responsible for equipment investment and qualification (verification & validation)
• Responsible for maintenance and calibration of all in-house tooling
• Drive Design for Assembly initiatives to ensure stable manufacturing processes and rapid and successful ramp up of new products.
• Responsible for the development of manufacturing documentation prior to launch (work instruction, flow chart, P-FMEA, Control Plan)
• Build a team of engineers with a strong knowledge of process design and validation
• Coach and develop all employees to their full potential
Personal profile/Key competencies:
• At least five years experience in manufacturing process development, emphasis on electronic assembly
• Experience in people management
• Qualification in Engineering, emphasis on electronics
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Knowledge of GMP
• Achievement oriented person
• Concern for Order & Quality
• Team leadership
• Flexibility
