The purpose of the Lab Operations organization is to deliver world class lab infrastructure, networks and Hardware Services to Ericsson Research and Development (R&D) organizations across the globe.
Our unit, Lab Site Operations (LSO) Linköping, delivers the vital hardware, infrastructure and related services to provide the required test environment for Ericsson R&D stakeholders. This implies that the IT & Telecom hardware is accurately installed and connected to infrastructure and is reachable by remote R&D users for monitoring, configuration and usage.
Are you interested to work in a large-scale lab & datacenter HW environment with the latest IT technologies?
In this position you will get an exciting insight and challenge how server HW needs to operate in harmony with other systems in a IT & Telecom environment with thousands of nodes in one of Ericsson's largest data centers. This position has a wide scope, and the focus is on the HW layer.
What you will do
Together with your teammates in our LabIT team, you will be responsible for the operation of IT infrastructure in an R&D lab/data center, mainly for server HW.
Support for commissioning as well as solve incidents and repairs.
Create and maintain configuration setups.
Work with IT security.
Improve the team's work processes.
Automate workflows. Investigate and take use of API technologies.
You will bring
Technical experience in the following areas:
Different types of server HW and its surrounding management systems.
Basic Linux & Windows knowledge.
General programing competence for automation solutions. (e.g. Phyton, Java script, shell script).
Http, web server.
Ticket management and monitoring system.
Basic IT security.
Service oriented and used to working with IT end users.
Good teamwork, interpersonal, social and presentation skills.
Creativity and curiosity - a continuous learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
BSc level or 4-year high school (Gymnasie) within IT/sysadmin orientation, or equivalent level of knowledge.
