Position Title: IB PYP and MYP Coordinator (Full-time)
Programme: PYP (Primary Years Programme) and MYP (Middle Years Programme) Coordinator

Description of Position:
Karlskrona Internationella Grundskola is an IB candidate school located in Karlskrona, Sweden. The school offers both the PYP and MYP programmes and is now seeking a professional and passionate IB Coordinator who is knowledgeable and has experienced in coordinating both PYP and MYP. The successful candidate must have a desire to work within an IB environment and continue the school's goal towards its IB Authorisation in the first quarter of 2021.
Additional duties include:
Collaborative Unit Planning with PYP and MYP teachers
Documentation related to the PYP and MYP roles as prescribed by the IB
Develop and maintain a positive learning environment
Being professional in your conduct towards students, colleagues, parents and other stakeholders
A commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students
Teaching is a part of the assignment as coordinator
Person Specification:
IB PYP and MYP experience is ideal however, a desire to work in an IB environment is a must.
Must have a teaching degree or similar
Proactive team player in a new and growing IB school
Able to lead both experienced IB staff and new teachers to the IB
Lifelong learner and internationally-minded
Proven leadership experiences in curriculum development and staff professional development
Commitment to high professionalism in the workplace
Commitment to the IB and School's Mission
The common language of Karlskrona Internationella Grundskola is English, it is a great advantage if you also master the Swedish language.
