hela Sverige Are you an HR-professional with a broad operational experience within HR? Do you wish to use your strategic skills and your interest in people to contribute to a better world for all LGBTQI people? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
ABOUT THE ROLE
RFSL has a vision of "An equal world where the human rights of all LGBTQI people are respected and no one is left out". As HR Manager your mission will be to enable the best possible conditions for us to achieve this, from an organisational perspective as well as on a team- and individual level.
Your responsibility will be to develop and manage the overall HR strategy and its implementation. Also, you will develop and run HR processes within the entire HR area, for example: employer branding, recruitment, on/off-boarding, compensation and benefits, skill development, personnel- and crisis management and work environment issues.
This position is completely new, which gives you as our new HR manager a unique opportunity to shape the role and the way of working from the start. You will be part of the management team and will report directly to the Executive Director.
The role offers great variety, including work tasks such as to:
Support RFSL's managers and leaders in their work.
Work with organisational and operational development and pursue issues of leadership, employees, and organisational culture.
Work actively with measures to promote employee engagement and equal treatment. e.g coordinating organisation equality group initiative.
Work for a well-functioning internal communication and workplace (hybrid - digital and physical).
Support the work with organisational development and support for RFSL's local departments.
Manage administration for the application of work permits for employees who need them.
Manage administration regarding employees working abroad.
Design internal policies.
Develop and manage HR IT systems (e.g., recruitment system, intranet, system for employee survey).
Handle labour law issues and participate in union negotiations in cooperation with the Executive Director.
Maintain a close and good cooperation with trade union parties.
Participate in management team meetings and their work.
ABOUT YOU
As a person you set high goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them. You think strategically by having a broad perspective on issues and by looking at the long-term consequences of things and strive to adapt your actions based on this.
You enjoy working with other people and can relate to others in a responsive and smooth way, yet you tend to take your own initiative, structure your own approach, and to drive your processes further to achieve results.
Furthermore, you have an ability to handle complex information as well as to make different types of considerations and you demonstrate great judgement in statements, actions, and decisions.
If you also recognize yourself as a person that likes to plan, organise, and prioritise the work in an efficient way, we definitely believe that you will be successful in this position.
We assume that you share RFSL's values of anti-racism, feminism, accessibility, and intersectionality.
To be suitable for this position you have:
At least a total of 5 years of relevant working experience, including broad, operational HR work and experience from all the yearly HR activities.
Experience of independently running HR processes or HR projects.
Experience of handling an inbox with a significant inflow of questions or requests, as well as a record of prioritising among these.
Practical training in labour law.
Basic knowledge and understanding of the LGBTQI-movement, anti-racism, intersectionality, and inclusion.
Proficiency in English and Swedish.
Solid IT skills, including good knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft 365 (Excel, PPT, Word).
Qualifications that are desirable but not required for the position are:
Post-secondary education within HR, psychology or other social science field.
Experience/knowledge from international organisations.
Experience of working within a non-governmental organisation (NGO).
Experience working with work permits, immigration process and Employee mobility.
