We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR professional to join our local HR team at any of our sites in Södertälje or Gothenburg as our new HR Employee Health Lead, Sweden. In this role you will lead the entire Sick-leave Statutory Scheme in Sweden and will be overall responsible for compliance to the Swedish Organisational and Social Work Environment standard. You will drive and work closely with senior stakeholders and managers to set the guidelines and strategy for how we manage Organisational Health and working environment within AstraZeneca Sweden. As a member of the Swedish HR Leadership Team and sick leave policy and process owner you will ensure that sick leave is managed effectively across the organisation in Sweden by monitoring performance against OSA standards.
You will lead and manage the Rehabilitation Lead Sweden and a team of HR professionals and rehabilitation specialists working within the OSA processes and the rehabilitation process in Sweden. A team where we appreciate and support each other in a high paced and flexible working environment and where you as a manager will coach and build talents for the future.
With a digital mindset you easily managed different data reporting and tracking tools to proactively track trends in sick-leave absence to ensure that the organisation identifies business areas of concern. You 'll be responsible for communication and training of employees and line managers in sick-leave process to secure compliance to the OSA legislation and that our policies are followed.
Typical accountabilities will include
* Accountability for compliance to Swedish legislation within the OSA are
* Accountable to manage all external audits within the OSA area such as by the Swedish Work Authority
* Define and manages HR resource requirements to deliver the OSA objectives and enable successful execution of strategy
* Participate in SHE committee meetings in both Gothenburg and Södertälje to provide updates on sick-leave status in Sweden and to capture risks identified by SHE and business
* Set strategy and KPI 's for Sick-leave and OSA across Sweden, including reporting performance to Global Leadership Teams and Sweden Leadership Team
* Financially plans and manages budgets for all areas of responsibility required for delivery of OSA support.
Required Skills & Knowledge
* Educated to Degree level within HR or equivalent
* Experience in a senior HR generalist position
* Experience from managing a team
* Experienced in designing processes and implementing new ways of working
* Documented knowledge of the Swedish work Environmental legislation, including AFS 2015:4
* Capability in developing and implementing HR strategy
* Experience in supporting and coaching line managers in how to manage sensitive situations and difficult conversations
* Fluid in Swedish and English
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
