BACKGROUND
Within Hill-Rom there are three business units: Patient Support Systems, Front Line Care and Surgical Solutions. Innovation remains a key strategy for Hill-Rom and in 2017, new products contributed approximately $150 million in revenue, continuing the company's long heritage of product and medical technology innovation. The introduction of new products across the business is expected to drive accelerated revenue growth and margin expansion in 2018 and beyond. The Revenue for the company is expected to exceed $3 billion by 2020, while adjusted operating margins are expected to approach 20 percent.
The business area structure is aligned by product type and contains the following units:
• Patient Support Systems - globally provides our specialty bed frames and surfaces and mobility solutions, as well as our clinical workflow solutions which specializes in software and information technologies to improve care and deliver actionable insight to caregivers and patients.
• Front Line Care - globally provides respiratory care products and sells medical diagnostic monitoring equipment and a diversified portfolio of physical assessment tools that assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide variety of illnesses and diseases.
• Surgical Solutions - globally provides products that improve surgical safety and efficiency in the operating room including tables, lights, pendants, positioning devices and various other surgical products and accessories.

THE ROLE AS ACCOUNT MANAGER, HILL-ROM
As Account Manager you will be part of the 45 people strong Nordic sales and service team.
You manage the Hill-Rom and the Low Acuity Vitals Welch Allyn business in the assigned territory and develop new business within designated
accounts. Focus will be on profitability, revenue growth against plan, maintaining costs and strategic company objectives. The Account Manager is expected to Identify business opportunities in the sales area, develop new business through direct sales activity including tendering, negotiations and contract management.
The position also includes the following main responsibilities:
• Meets and exceeds targets for revenue and profitability. Achieves the yearly Territory Business Plan in association with the Sales Manager, meets challenging targets in the Welsh Allyn and Hill-Rom divisions.
• Presents management information and contract review information to the Sales Manager. Responsible for regularly providing the necessary forecast using the Sales Force CRM system
• Ensures the implementation of promotional/sales programs in conjunction with marketing communication, education, clinical and training, practice enhancement. Initiates trails and demo's and sales in Hill-Rom/Welsh Allyn and competitor accounts.
• Builds strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process to enhance the Hill-Rom Brand and Image and to maximize the success of concept selling.
• Liaises with the Commercial Operations Manager and local technical and service teams.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for a commercially oriented person with excellent networking capabilities. The right person has good ability to communicate and engage those around him/her. It is also important to be able to manage and navigate in a growing and changing Global company. Experience from sales from Medtech industry is important.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of sales experience with proven results.
• Technical background is an advantage
• Clinical background is a big advantage
• Existing relationships in several medical brands is an advantage

• Action and results oriented team player with high integrity
• Hands on mentality.
• Entrepreneurial thinker and actor towards company's objectives.
• Strong personality with outstanding communication skills within all levels of organization and across cultures.
• Extremely capable to manage and communicate internationally (through virtual, remote communication tools).
• Willing to take on responsibility and to deliver high level of service.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Applications.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
