We need to secure competence and resources regarding Health & Safety, Environment and Chemical handling in Alingsås. Your main task will be to support employees and managers in the area of Health & Safety, Environment and Chemicals.
Role and responsibilities
• Follow up and report the daily work out of HSE perspective
• Support employees and managers in HSE including Chemical risk assessments
• Guide and support managers in incident and accident investigations
• Keeping track of Swedish and European Parliament laws and regulations, new laws and regulations and how they affect the scope
• Support the managers and employees regarding laws and requirement regarding interpretations and how to fulfill them
• Evaluate and improve routines and instructions based on laws and requirements
• Propose and prepare common HSE educations
• Keep track and analyze reported accidents, incidents and risks with the purpose to initiate improvement projects or corrective actions to make sure that the problems don 't reocurre
• Manage contacts with HSE authorities
Your profile/qualifications
You probably hold a master of degree in Health and Safety and/or Environment at university level. You have at least 5 years of experience of Health & Safety and Environmental work from similar industry.
You are a structured, holistic, analytic and educational person who likes working in an unpredictable environment. You have leadership skills and work with an economic business perspective and you like to be problem solving in your daily work.
Due to the fact that you will have your HSE colleagues and manager placed in Karlskrona, you shortly need to be able to see, pick up and drive work tasks by your own. You also need to have a personal integrity. On the other hand you have the possibility to form the daily work together with your stakeholders in Alingsås.
The position offers an international context, and you are expected to be fluent in Swedish and English (German would be to your advantage) as well as being available for some travelling.
