Your role
Saab Business Area Aeronautics is looking for a Head of Security.
As Head of Security at BA Aeronautics, you will work in an international environment where advanced security threats are part of the everyday business alongside complex business environments and projects with high business impact. You will lead a highly professional security function with personnel of different backgrounds and competences.
In your role, you will be in charge of providing line management, leadership and strategic direction within all areas of the security function within BA Aeronautics. You will be the driver of the security functions strategic work to support execution of the business plan. You will prioritize and decide in all security areas as well as coordinating and liaise with other functions, Business Areas 's, Business Units 's, internal and external parties.
Within BA Aeronautics you will report to Deputy Head of Aeronautics and functionally you will report to Saab Group Chief Security Officer. You will represent BA Aeronautics Security Function in multiple decision forum both internally and externally.
In this role you will mostly lead through leaders and have line manager responsibility for three reporting line managers. You will also be line manager for operative security personnel and have work environment and budget responsibility for the Security function.
Your main tasks will be:
* Strategic lead within the security functions all areas of responsibility
* Risk and compliance management from a strategic perspective
* Crisis management on BA level, including Group Crisis management
* Represent Aeronautics Security in all applicable forums
You will lead, guide and support all parts of the Security function
Your profile
Required skills:
* Leadership/line management experience
* A university degree or equivalent competence acquired through work life experience in security risk management, crisis management and/or similar
* Experience from leading work in a strategic context
* Ability to build and maintain networks and good relations inside and outside your organization
* As we operate in a highly regulated environment, it is required that you have experience of working with security requirements, preferably both Swedish protective security requirements and international standards, such as ISO 27001
* Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
* Good problem solving skills
* Experience in working with operational management
Desired skills:
* Business and commercial understanding
* Experience from working for a company or government authorities or in a global context including understanding of security demands and requirements in the business process
* Experience from working with security within contracts in Sweden and outside
* Experience from working with incident handling and/or incident investigations
* High self-awareness especially regarding your personal strengths and weaknesses
* Analytical and structured
Personal qualities will be of great importance, you are a true team player, always focusing at the team's results and supporting the business and the company.
It is paramount that you are trustworthy with strong ethics and personal integrity and you understand the need for balanced security in a business driven environment.
As Head of Security at BA Aeronautics you will get in contact with classified information.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
