Our technical platform is our product. It facilitates all flows within Fyndiq – from API and integrations via the product review flow to customer experience, customer support and payment flow. The Product Development department will be responsible for setting our vision for where we are heading with our platform, and with the help of our Engineering department make sure that the vision is implemented. You will be reporting to CTO.
As it is a new role you will be starting off as Product Manager, working on existing projects at a more detailed level, and provide feedback on how the current projects unfold. You will also get to build your department from scratch, including recruiting new team members.
This position is critical to driving innovative solutions and to assist us in achieving growth and vision. You will be working with our vision for the platform and manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. You are responsible for understanding, designing and delivering solutions that can create value for Fyndiq. You will work closely with all departments to unify and implement their vision by defining the roadmap. You will be managing the product roadmap and continuously overseeing the right expectations with departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Besides working on long-term visions, you will identify and address gaps and opportunities within different existing products to increase the profitability.
Who are you?
You have experience from working on web services and are interested in e-commerce. You possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You enjoy researching the market to understand the problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. As a person you are a team player, motivator with good leadership skills where you will bring together people and perspectives to reach new solutions, build confidence and trust with colleagues across all levels of the organisation. As Head of Product Development you will provide vision, leadership and set product priorities.
