We need someone else than me to take the lead of our product’s development.†Well, so that happened here too, and I got plenty of things to tell you about your new title as Head of Product Development.
Your new role
You will, together with your team at our new Product Development department, take responsibility for setting Fyndiq’s platform (Fyndiq.se, Fyndiq.de and supporting systems) vision, and executing it through innovation. We have been running fast, now we need to run and scale even faster.
You will manage the entire product road map from strategic planning to tactical activities and ensure it's in line with company goals. And in close collaboration with our Engineering team you’ll see to it that all Fyndiq’s flows, from API and integrations via the product review flow to customer experience, customer support and payment flow, are delivering a kick-ass experience for our great merchants and bargain hunters, both in Sweden and Germany.

It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, which amazingly comes with this job. And as you’re one of the first members to join, you will be working on existing projects together with Elin (our talented product manager) at a more detailed level, and provide feedback on how the current projects unfold. With your leadership skills, teamwork, trust and effective communication, you will motivate and lead your innovative team players as the product development team grows.

It would be this: You have experience from working with web services and you are curious about the booming e-commerce sphere. You possess a unique combo of business and technical savviness: you see the big-picture and know what needs to be done when turning vision into reality. Researching markets + understanding problem = finding innovative solutions, is basically what gives you a small moment of joy in life. You know how to balance between prioritizing quick wins and long term gains. You have solid stakeholder management skills as you will be interacting with both technical and business representatives.
