Scania is currently in the midst of a multi-year People & Culture transformation including implementing our first-ever global HR system, which will become the core system for all HR-processes globally.
We are now looking for a new Manager to our Global Occupational Health organization. On an overall level we want you to be both experienced in the way we work today and at the same time able to grasp the occupational safety and health needs of tomorrow.
Your tasks
You will be responsible for leading and developing the Global Occupational Health function which today consists of three groups; one in the Netherlands, one in France, and one delivering S&H support to the commercial organization worldwide. You will work in close cooperation with the Swedish Ocuupational Health function and Safety and Helath Office. The task is to guide Scania in its work to ensure and promote health, safety and sustainable productivity. We are an independent expert resource in the work environment area. In total the Global function consists of about 40 employees.
Aptitude in leadership and ability to build structure and a sense of coherence for your employees are essential as well as being a true team player.
Our occupational health is working to prevent and eliminate health risks in the workplace and has the competence to identify and describe the connections between work environment, organization, productivity and health. The starting point for the work is the individual, the workplace and the organization. The focus is to create a well-functioning work ability and good emotional, cognitive and physical health for the employees.

Your profile
You have an academic degree within the area of work environment or health, at least 5 years of experience working as a manager and vast knowledge within the Occupational Health area. You need to have experience of working in a global environment.
As a person you have a strategic mindset, good problem solving and communication skills. You are clear as a leader and have a curious mindset. You have the ability to create commitment and participation and to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This role requires strong people skills in order to influence, collaborate, motivate, and drive timely and effective results. It 's also important to have the experience of working with culture, behavioural and organizational changes.
The role includes business travel to the global sites.
You need to be fluent in Swedish and English.
