Job description
Are you committed about creating a safer and more organized work environment? As the Head of EHS at Nefab, you will lead the development and implementation of the company's , Health & Safety initiatives on a global scale. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing cutting-edge EHS systems and processes across all Nefab sites, driving continuous improvements, and fostering a culture of safety and compliance. The Head of EHS is a group-level position and will report to the Group Executive Vice President of Operations. Responsibilities
Devise and lead the implementation of EHS strategies that align with the organization's long-term goals.
Establish governance systems to monitor Health &Safety regulatory compliance across all Nefab sites.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the EHS culture.
Provide guidance, advice, and support to the management team on EHS policy and standards.
Raise awareness by conducting training sessions, workshops, and sharing best practices to reduce health and safety risks.
Set EHS goals and objectives for Nefab's manufacturing plants and collaborate closely with regional leaders to review and monitor performance.
Lead emergency management planning to ensure business continuity and minimize legal and regulatory breaches.
Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify key EHS risks and implement necessary actions.
Plan and implement the roll-out of OHSAS 18001 and/or ISO 45001 certification across Nefab sites.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or master degree in engineering or a related field.
Several years of experience in the manufacturing industry as a production or plant manager, or in a similar role.
Experience in multinational and multi-site manufacturing organizations.
Experience leading the EHS function at a regional or corporate level.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Proficient in MS Office.
Experience with the implementation of ISO 45001.

It will be an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in quality and/or environmental management systems such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. Experience working with Lean methodologies and an audit background in any of these areas will also be considered a merit. Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a plus.
