Then Group Manager Studio Engineering and Site Coordination is the position for you!
What is the job?
You will lead and develop a team of Studio Engineers that are part of our cross functional design team working with the different business areas, mainly with Volvo Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment.
You will also secure a department/site planning overview and lead the Order Office function for the complete VGD site in close cooperation with the Design Director of each Volvo Group business area Truck, Bus, Construction Equipment and Penta.
You will lead and coordinate the design studio management and development within the management team, incl coordination of investment needs, layout and facilties improvements etc
Who are you?
You have a background in product development, working within design or in direct cooperation with designers and studio engineers. You have a strong knowledge of team leading as well as experience from project or portfolio management. Experience from leading teams in agile development is a merit.

Other key requirements for the role are:
Min BA/BfA or equivalent degree
Basic financial understanding - budgeting, resource management and financial control, using Excel and SAP
Documented team leader or project management experience. Management experience with direct reports is a merit
Full understanding of, and ability to advocate, the design process
Basic knowledge in Agile (SAFE) methodologies and Scrum
