Let us describe the challenge we offer
The Payroll team is responsible for giving Volvo Cars' people and several sub companies in Sweden salary and time related service and support. The team is also securing continuous development as a result of new business and legal needs connected to processes and tools. The exiting digital journey has been initiated and the potential is endless.
The Payroll Operation and Support group is responsible for the daily service to all employees in Sweden. The group consists of two self-organizing delivery teams supporting different business areas, handling people changes during an employment lifetime and securing the monthly salary payment. We are in close collaboration with other People Experience teams as well as external authorities, both in operational matters and new development.

What you 'll do
As a Group Manager you will lead a team of Payroll Specialists. This means coaching, supporting and mentoring two highly effective delivery teams committed to make life less complicated for our customers. Your responsibility includes our payroll operations as well as securing support functions and communication to customers.
Developing people, building culture and driving change to secure continuous improvements and standardization will be a big part of your role. And you will also be an important player in how we should best deliver service to our employees tomorrow. You will report to Head of Payroll Sweden and based in Gothenburg.
Who you are
You have a minimum of 3-year degree from university and experience from working within Payroll area. Since Volvo Cars is on an exciting journey to become a Movetech company, we think you have extensive and hands-on experience from IT tools and process development within HR. Also you have experience from leading, developing and coach high-performing teams. You are passionate about customer service and have the ability to have both people, quality and simplicity in focus.
You have high integrity and are equipped with both strong decision-making skills and knowhow about how to communicate. You have an outstanding capability to deliver high performance under pressure as well as handling stakeholders in order to successfully deliver upon expectations
