hela Sverige As manager for this group, your target is to take our engine verification activities to a level where we meet current and future demands from our customers. Constantly questioning and evaluating our test methods is an important task in this role. The expectation is also to define simulation methods that can replace/extend the conventional test methods and thereby secure a more exhaustive verification.
A very important task is to drive the development of methods & processes for verification in order to perform the overall verification of the products in time and to the right cost level. This can be accomplished through physical testing or by developing simulation methods relying on virtual verification methods.
Your task is to secure correct selection of verification methods, efficient execution, reporting, and finally, documentation of the results.
Competence-, development- and investment plans for the coming years need to be developed together with other groups as part of the strategic work.
The work requires a close cooperation with other groups and departments to create an open and flexible environment in order to deliver a verified product in most efficient way.
You need to establish and maintain an external network in the industry, in order to secure that we stay in a leading position, when it comes to methods.
Wanted profile
As Group Manager for the Engine Verification you will play an important role to define our needed capability in the years to come. In order to do this, it is likely that you have a network within this domain outside the company and that you thereby can lead your team to stay at the forefront in the industry.
You need to be an excellent communicator with good presentation skills, in order to sell your vision to the team.
To be successful in this role, you are a team-player with a visionary mindset. You preferably have international experience since you will work with our colleagues in other sites and external testing institutes.
You are an inspiring leader with high integrity ready to challenge status quo and you enjoy seeing your team members develop through your coaching.
You are also a member of the Analysis and Verification Management Team and in this role you are expected to contribute to the section's success by a holistic approach. If necessary, by setting aside your own agenda in favor of achieving our collective goals.
Essential skills and needed experience:
Fluency in English and Swedish
Demonstrated leadership skills in a changing environment
Experience from Verification management of powertrain components or demonstrated verification experience from other areas.
Experience from simulation methods as a tool for verification is a plus.
MSc. within the technical area or other relevant experience/education
