Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. The new section, Information architecture and Tool Chain for Embedded is focusing on developing and maintaining the tool chain for supporting the Embedded organisation. EPID is responsible for tools support for architecting, requirement management, verification and analysis of the electrical system. The group consists of software and business developers divided in teams. The teams develop tools in-house as well as in cooperation with other suppliers (IT at Scania and external suppliers).
Your daily challenges will include
• Ensuring your team's ability by develop self-organized teams
• Motivating, engaging and developing your co-workers
• Responsibility for the team's delivery in close cooperation with various stakeholders
• Drive the change in automation of software development
• Responsible for budget and to maximize business value from your capacity
• Being a member of the management team, where you play an important role in formulating strategies, plans and visions for our area

Your profile
R&D needs a new leader that dare to drive change and constantly challenge the way we are working. Being a leader comes naturally to you. As a leader you communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial in driving the development of both team and individual. You are a good coach for people and can adapt your leadership skills to different situations.
You have a solid background within software development, preferable within embedded systems. You probably have bachelor degree in engineering or similar. Leadership experience is a merit. Fluent in written and spoken English.
As a person you are curios, interested in strategic work and driven by always improving our products and processes.
