The Driver domain is part of the Technology organization at Volvo Autonomous Solutions with the ambition to deliver the most desirable automated driving functionality on the market. We are a software centric domain and have the responsibility for software design, implementation, compliance and quality over the complete life cycle for the motion planning and control capability of our autonomous vehicles. We are driven by the vision that our innovations will exceed expectations from customers and contribute to a society that we want to live in.
Our domain consists of several brilliant teams, and in this role you will get the pleasure of leading ~10 of our amazing engineers focusing on vehicle motion control, software development, system design and engineering to deliver robust, stable functionality and solutions with high uptime, safety and quality.

Your industry background might be broad, but some automotive experience might benefit you. We expect you to bring with you good insight into vehicle control, system design, software development, technical requirement handling and functional safety. Finally, it would delight us if you have experience from continuous integration and deployment for releasing robust, stable software products including features, base software, runtime environment and hardware, with high uptime and easy maintainability.
