We are looking for a hands-on Graphic designer with a solid understanding of interactive user experience, and a creative mind to find good solutions with given limitations to create the best possible game experience. Your primary focus will be interface design, considering game flows and interactivity. You will be working closely with our Product owners, the frontend development team and of course our customers, who are gaming and entertainment operators around the world.
In pre-production you will work with concepts on various levels, in production you will define the visual look for various games and products and deliver game graphics and visuals that will be used in the products, and you will take responsibility for managing the NYX Interactive Corporate Brand.
The position is permanent full time, based in Stockholm.
Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate who has experience leading design work and is good at giving and receiving feedback and constructive criticism, someone with a positive ?can-do? attitude.
You work proactively and should also have solid experience delivering against time and technical constraints. Good communication skills are essential as you will be required to present to executives and sometimes work closely with outside art departments or marketing teams on game branding and promotional materials.
Ideally, you have completed a few game design projects. You are used to work with the Adobe Creative Suite and you are a team player.
An extensive Portfolio is required.
Desired experiences: Usability, Game interface design.
Bonus: Animations, Mobile/App development, Flash/AS3, HTML5, CSS3 and some 3D application.
