We are currently in a stage of expansion and are thus in need of new talent for our main office, situated near the Södertälje central station.
We are looking for an experienced artist, skilled in 3D- (Maya, Lightwave, 3DS Max etc) and 2D- (Photoshop) production.
As an artist with Polarbit, you'll be working with world class AAA-titles for a broad set of clients - focusing on mobile and handheld platforms.
Qualifications:
• Experience of graphics production for game development.
• Experience of graphics production and optimization (low poly).
• Experience of 3D animation (2D / pixel-based animation skills is a big plus).
• A great deal of importance will be put on applicants ability to take own initiatives and work independently.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English is preferred.
• Academic degree is a merit but not a requirement.
Further, applicants should be:
• Dedicated gamers with a burning desire to develop great games.
• Efficient and thorough in all aspects of their work.
• Able to work within tight deadlines.
• Easy-going.
• Residing, or able to relocate to, somewhere in the greater Stockholm area
• Goal oriented
• Responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure
