Overview
Global Technical Innovation Manager Incontinence Care, New Entrant Care Lights By TENA.
The purpose of the role is to develop & deliver innovative new solutions to better meet the needs of a defined target audience.
As part of a marketing / technical partnership, the role is responsible to lead prioritized concepts through all stages of the innovation funnel from concept to launch (which will be executed by the regional teams).
In addition the role is responsible to create strong 8 quarter launch plan in close cooperation with the GBD, lead markets, CRU, PD&I and others to drive company sales growth and reach overall SCA targets.
The position is located in Gothenburg.
Main Tasks
Recommend to the GBD the assortment vision & ambition
Based on consumer and customer insight run technical feasibility
Own product specification within targeted area
Discover, develop and evaluate new territories/new concepts that enables a balanced flow of activities entering the Q8 launch plan
Recommend product and solution innovations that build on key brand features & design to GBD and validate with key marketing communities
Support BU growth and monitor cost saving initiatives vs innovation funnel
Propose Innovation project organisation and resources to the GBD. Act as project manager for relevant innovation projects through all stages of the Innovation funnel
Develop assortment, claims and pack design
Give input to strategic & innovation driven Capexes
Secure alignment with R&D Core, Technology and Manufacturing (Suppliers)
Key Competencies
5+ years’ experience in technical development and innovation management
Proven skills in product innovation development & delivery
Ideally worked in manufacturing as well as in an innovation or R&D function
Strong experience in running & project managing multi-functional teams effectively
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative international environment
FMCG experience
