We are now recruiting a Global Sustainability Manager for the Industrial Technique business area.About the jobThe Global Sustainability Manager heads the development and drives the implementation of the Sustainability strategy in the Industrial Technique business area, divisions and companies. The Global Sustainability Manager follows up on the performance of the business area related to our Group goals and business area initiatives and supports the business area management and divisions by providing input on areas of improvement and action.The Sustainability Manager is also part of the Group SHEQ council providing support to Group management in sustainability related matters. Monitoring of trends and external requirements in the Sustainability area and finding ways to integrate these in the business in order to satisfy different stakeholders is also an important part of the role. We have a strong focus on acquisitions and part of the role is to participate in due diligence activities around acquisitions and support integration of acquired companies. This role is also responsible for setting up a framework ensuring that we meet our Group goals within areas such as ethics, safety and environment. This framework should also be compliant with safety, health, environment and quality standards.Overseeing the ITBA data privacy compliance programme with the relative regulation requirements including, but not limited to, those of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes supporting Atlas Copco Group Data privacy activities. This role has global responsibility covering all divisions within ITBA.A resource of 50% will work together with the Global Sustainability manager supporting the organization with SHEQ applications related to management system and audit, safety reporting and chemicals management.Further examples of responsibilitiesDevelop the global SHEQ network consisting of local SHEQ managers and coordinators in product companies and customer centers.Support entities in the business area in developing local strategies in line with ITBA Sustainability strategy.Develop common initiatives such as training, campaigns and communication related to the sustainability strategy in areas related to ethics, safety, eco design and environment.Coordinate the activities around the business area multisite certificate and audit program in cooperation with the external certification body and Group internal audit.Ensure continuous development of the guidelines and procedures for fulfilment of standard requirements as well as The Way We Do Things and other external requirements.Coordination of the business area conflict minerals reporting.Cooperate with Group communications to provide input for the annual report, Capital markets day and other external events related to achievements within the business area and the sustainability reporting.Regional/Global travel approximately 20%.What you need to succeedExperience in:Sustainability strategy and reportingSafety, health, environmental risk assessment, training and communicationISO certification and audit (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)Understanding the relevant Atlas Copco and Industrial Technique Business processesExperience in Data Privacy is a plusEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering preferably specialized in environmental science of sustainable development.PersonalityExcellent communication skills capable of dealing with wide range of stakeholders. Fluency in spoken and written English, other languages will be consider as a plus. Ability to work effectively across internal functional areas in ambiguous situations is of great importance.
