hela Sverige Vehicle Connectivity in Gothenburg delivers products, services and solutions to all truck brands within the Volvo group. The Entertainment and Connected Services (EACS) Electronics team is now recruiting a Global Software Component Owner/ Lead Engineer.
You will be part of our team responsible for developing the vehicles entertainment and connected service delivery platform components. These systems are an integral part of our customer's product offering and the driver environment. To deliver world class products in this area we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost. The development is done in a global environment with colleagues and suppliers from around the world.
Mission
Manage the main software deliveries for the entertainment and connected service delivery platform components.
Create production system documentation for releases as output from the agile release train (ART)
Support project activities for testing, verification and validation
Responsible for collecting non-functional implementation requirements
Set up component specific processes to manage SW packages into Volvo systems
Secure that the team delivers integrated and smoke tested SW on HW
Represent component development in technical cross functional teams and the ART
Take active part in the SAFe agile planning activities to synchronize deliveried with the internal SW development teams.
Be the main SW technical interface towards our suppliers
Technical leadership to secure that the development at the supplier is balanced according to the plans and project milestones
Handle the technical communication regarding problems and changes towards the supplier and internal stakeholders
Communicate results in the system tests and the component unitary tests to supplier and support root cause analysis

Qualifications
University degree, M.Sc. in electronics, computer engineering or similar
Experience in the embedded SW development area and in the automotive industry
Experience in technical leadership of Tier1 supplier development resources or similar supplier set ups
Infotainment/ in-veichle entertainment domain knowledge
Personal Skills
Fluent in english, written and spoken
Responsibility taking personality, acts with integrity and, of course, with a result oriented mindset
Motivated, innovative enthusiastic and a positive attitude
High co-operation and communication skills
