Axis is looking for the right person to fill an opening position
as a Global Sales Engineer at the Product Management team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Global Sales Engineers team is the center of our global sales engineer’s network and Axis knowledge base in system and application matters. Together with business development and marketing this team will drive Axis towards an application- and solution- oriented market approach.

You will be responsible of delivering trustworthy information to our network of more than 80 Sales Engineers worldwide. The position requires a close cooperation with your team of Global Sales Engineers to document best practices in the use of Axis products. You will investigate and document new technologies for the market based on R&D knowledge and investigations.

Furthermore, you will be in charge of different knowledge sharing tools and help your team to build a knowledge base structure. You will take part in events and training worldwide, delivering presentations and workshops that you have created and/or compiled. In an ocean of unclassified and non-verified information it will be your responsibility as a Global Sales Engineer, to build an island of categorized, verified, cross-linked and up-to-date information.

This position will include travelling, approximately 20 to 40 days a year.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Axis is looking for a business oriented individual who has an understanding of project sales. We think that the right candidate has a deep technical understanding and natural system solution thinking and it’s also important that you have good communication and networking skills. Furthermore, we believe you are senior and used to take your own decisions.

Apart from above we believe you have/are:

• A technical University degree
• The passion and ability to explain complex ideas and concepts in structured documents
• More than 5 years’ experience within system engineering
• Documented work with system solutions close to end customers
• The ability to link technology and customer needs
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

SYSTEM & SERVICES TEAM
System & Services is globally responsible for system solutions, the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings as well as project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. System & Services is one half of Axis product management.
