We are now looking for a Global Product Manager to join our Software Solutions team within the Solution Management department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Service Center is a set of services based on a common service platform. It will include services executing in the cloud, on-premise, in the devices etc.

As Global Product Manager you will have the main responsibility for our Service Center. You will manage the entire life cycle - from strategic planning to tactical activities, this include activities such as: gathering market input, business plans for the service offering, roadmap planning, service definitions, development project guidance, introduction/launch of new services together with the business area teams, business follow-up/review.

You will have high focus on understanding the needs on the Service Center from our small, medium and enterprise business offerings. You need to build an understanding for how we can develop and grow our service offering to attract new partners/users and create loyalty among our existing partners/users. You must have broad experience from both business and technology, knowledge of software products is important and preferably from products/solutions sold as services.

You will work in a team of product managers and product specialists that are responsible for Axis software solutions. Within R&D you will work with a Service Center architect as well as Project Managers to define the use cases and requirements. You will work with our cross functional Business teams for Small, Medium and Enterprise Business to take the services to the market.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop a deep understanding of the competition and market needs
• Create a companywide understanding of the possibilities with Axis cloud based Service Center
• Take an active part in market and sales activities to promote our solutions
• Inform and train the sales force at new service launches
• Own and drive the strategies, business plan and roadmap for the cloud based Service Center
• Contribute in the definition of the solution strategies for small, medium and enterprise business
• Understanding and communicating the complete solution to R&D teams

Travelling will be required 20 to 40 days a year

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are a socially skilled team player with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. You enjoy performing in a multi-cultural, high pace environment with international contacts. Your way of approaching and solving tasks is structured but at the same time you have a flexible mindset and are open to change. You are always open to customers and colleagues.

You have:

• A technical university degree including software development as one component
• At least 10 years of working experience with a few years of software development
• A clear interest to business and market dynamics
• Documented experience from working with solutions close to the market
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.
• Technical knowledge about Video Management Systems.
• Technical knowledge about cloud solutions
• Experience from working with RMR (recurring monthly revenue) products/solutions
• Knowledge in software development processes

THE SOLUTION MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for capabilities and solutions, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. Software Solutions is one out of six groups within Solution Management.
