HemoCue is looking for a Global Product Manager Hb to join our growing team. This role will drive global share of market, revenue and gross margin for the product line and take part in the annual planning process such as strategic plans, budgets and forecasts and in regular financial and operational reviews such as revenue reviews and project meetings to follow up on progress.
The position prioritizes and coordinates activities and decisions and has a customer value approach in the marketing of the products. The Global Product Manager Hb is the subject matter expert for Hb from global marketing vs. other HemoCue departments incl. R&D projects and third party organisations e.g. distributors.
Responsibilities
Act as Global Product Manager Hb that leads and manages the product line strategy and life cycle strategies globally Have expert knowledge of global market development, clinical and technical trends, competitive development and "Center of Excellence" - how and why the product(s) are being used Financially responsible for cost centre budget and forecast, gross margin and market share Globally be responsible for product positioning, define end customer and distributor pricing and develop/order marketing and sales promotion material Support of local sales organizations including education, Review and contribute ideas to sales promotion material developed locally
Qualifications
Marketing or Science degree (Master or Bachelor) 5 years of marketing related work experience whereof a min. 2 years from medical device industry and, if applicable, remaining experience from related industry or relevant health care profession Experience from profit & loss responsibility alt. cost budget responsibility Excellent understanding, or ability to quickly develop the same, of user needs, the environment of use and regulatory requirements Ability to communicate with and gain confidence of KOLs and clinical expertise Business and results oriented, creative person with strong analytical skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, decisions and activities also in the absence of formal authority Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Ability to work within the HemoCue Way core value system Fluent in English, spoken and written Good PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Must be able to travel 40-50 days per year
