Right now, we're looking for a Global Incident Manager to be part of our global, passionate Seco family. Where innovation, teamwork, and agilityform the winning combination.
In this role you are responsible for our global incident process, this will entail securing the way we handle and monitor IT incidents to ensure all business systems are running smoothly for the success of Seco Tools.
Your mission
In this role, you're responsible for the Global IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Incident process within Seco Tools. Included in your position is to oversee the incident management process and respond to a reported service incident, identify the cause, and initiate the incident management process. In addition, you're producing documents outlining incident protocols, such as cybersecurity threats or correcting server failures. Collaborating with the incident Management Team and Problem Manager, you're prioritizing and logging all incidents and managing the Incident Team members by re-assigning workloads. You're communicating with upper management if significant issues are found in the IT system, and you also measure and report the incident management process through KPIs.
You show involvement and responsibility for the overall organizational health and ensure the achievement of strategic objectives for the total IT support process. You report to the Director of Digital Support Services. The position for this role is Fagersta with the possibility of part-time remote work. Regular international travel is included in your job.
Your profile
We're looking for you with a bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or another relevant field. You have experience from working in IT service management or a similar role and a strong knowledge of IT service management software including ITIL. You have years of experience in Incident Management with a focus on server and application operation or client support. It is also an advantage if you are ITIL Foundation certified. Acting in a global environment calls for great English skills, verbally and in writing.
With excellent managerial and communication skills combined with a natural curiosity you collaborate with team members, and you provide and understand the perspectives of various stakeholders, handle ambiguity and propose innovative improvements. You're service minded and have a good sense of quality. Our high rate of change also requires that you are flexible, independent and that you are motivated by results. You have the ability to analyze a high volume of technical data and work in a fast-paced environment - and you show strong problem-solving, analytical- and time management skills. With your integrity and great collaborative skills, you're a role model for our values, building networks and relationships with ease across cultural borders.
