GLOBAL CUSTOMER MARKETING MANAGER
Uppsala, Sweden or Freiburg, Germany (Location can be flexible within Europe)

In this position you will be part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. With 1,500 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro allergy testing and also the European leader in autoimmunity diagnostics.
The Global Customer Marketing Manager is an integral member of the Customer Marketing Team and their overarching responsibility will be to develop strategies in order to maximize short- and long-term growth in line with the company strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand the market landscape, customer needs and competitive environment.
• Utilize customer and business insights to provide customer feedback and data to support the development of promotional plans for laboratory customer groups globally. The person also acts as key interface to between local, regional and global marketing functions.
• Develop competitive argumentation and value proposition for target groups and products.
• Create campaigns including concept development, positioning, and messaging to respective customer segments, including internal educational programs for effective pull through in commercial organizations.
• Manage external vendors such as marketing agencies and ensure timely and on budget delivery of projects.
• Facilitate pull through of campaign initiatives in relevant geographies through close collaboration with regional marketing directors and commercial teams.
• Drive functional and cross-functional collaboration with local, regional and global marketing functions.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• A scientific degree is required and a Master in Marketing or an MBA would be advantageous.
• You must have experience from life-science, diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other healthcare sectors and experience from the laboratory customer segment (commercial and hospital labs) is strongly preferred.
• Having worked with sales, strategic marketing, and/or market research would be very beneficial
• Ideally you will have several years of marketing experience with demonstrated success, including development and implementation of commercial strategies and tactics.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating cross-functionally in a matrix environment.
• Experience of leading marketing projects, working with customer insights data, managing agencies and using digital strategy is strongly preferred.
• You should have used MS Office extensively
