The space has the mission to approach the Scandinavian culture with the distinctive cultures of the world, specially Latin-America.
Role Overview:
We seek for someone who will be responsible to organize the projects, manage the communication and connect the space with artists in countries such as Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.
You as a Candidate:
Must know how to produce an exhibition for artists, apply for funds in different countries, keep the contact between the artist and the gallery, and promote/organise events.
Must have a theoretical background in fine art photography, knowing about different appropriations of the medium through artists from distinctive parts of the world.
Must have a basic knowledge in the history of latin art, knowing about different appropriations of the medium through artists from distinctive parts of the world.
Required skills and experience:
• Be graduated in Fine Arts and Cultural Production.
• A minimum of one year work experience within the field of cultural production.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Approachable, flexible and responsible.
• Used to working independently and within a group.
• Problem solving.
• Good working knowledge with; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.
• Be fluent in English and have basic knowledge in others latin languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian).
