For our electrified vehicles, the perceived quality, performance, and usability of our power distribution and charging system are crucial in creating trust in new technology for our customers. Building this trust will be important to support our customers on their journey to sustainability. Furthermore, having charging systems and functions that are both safe, efficient, and seamless will be an important differentiator for our competitors, and that will create premium value for our customers.
To accomplish that, we need the right capabilities and competence in our Charging System group. Therefore are we looking for an ambitious and driven Function Owner that will help us to define and develop our systems and functions for high voltage Charging Systems Architecture?
Who you will join
Within the electrification sector, we are the group that has the responsibility to develop and secure the Premium Charging Experience. Our goal is to make it safe, easy, and seamless so that the customer is confident in knowing that the Scania truck is reliable and will always be ready to go.
The group that you now have the opportunity to join, is comprised of ambitious system and function owners who all are working towards our mission of Driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system. We collaborate through an agile and cross-functional setup including R&D, Sales & Marketing, Production, and Purchasing to develop the charging experience. In the agile landscape, the group is divided into two teams and each team has one product owner and scrum master.

Since this journey just started, you'll get the opportunity to form the team's way of working and grow within this future field.
We are therefore now looking for you who are curious to develop yourself together with us as the Function Owner for the function External charging of the propulsion battery. The charging experience is highly dependent on our systems and functions working seamlessly with the customer in focus at all times. From plugging in the charger and following the charging session in apps to making sure that the body build gets power.
Even if the team members do not have a formalized leadership role in the team, we think that everyone should take a leadership role over their responsibilities in each project. We are all leaders and role models for each other.
Who you are
• you enjoy taking initiative yourself when there are no instructions available and find motivation in developing the best way forward in cooperation with others in a large organization
• you are interested in working with a mix of leadership and understanding technical tasks/issues and can understandably describe these to many stakeholders
• a dedicated team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
• communicative and good at navigating between theory and practice
• experienced in system/software development
• or you have experience within Scania that you could see fit this role, and are eager to develop yourself within this area
