Job description
You will be working within Connected Services and Solutions, an organization that has the mission to make sure all Scania products are connected, develop profitable business concepts and services based on connectivity, grow our digital marketplace and last but not least, to profitably digitise the transport industry. You will contribute to this vision in a Scrum team together with other team members, a product owner and a Scrum master. You will work cross-functional within the Connected Services and Solutions organization to share knowledge within your areas of expertise.
We are organized in a BizDevOps setup, which means that we gather all the competence we need within the business area from operations and development to sales and market implementation. We strive to get better all the time and to have an open mind set to new insights and learnings.
You and your team decide how to work and which technologies that best support you in building your software. For current projects, we are using .Net Core, Scala, React, Angular and AWS.
About You
We believe that you have a holistic view on the development cycle and therefore do not want to focus solely on a specific part of the problem. You appreciate the value of good cooperation and you are comfortable with the agile culture and ways of working. We also believe that you are a problem solver driven by customer needs rather than a specific technical stack. Moreover, you feel comfortable delivering in short iteration cycles.
Your Profile
We want you to have good understanding of programming principles and appreciation of the purpose and the practices of Agile. We also want you to be curious and to have the ability to learn new technology domains. You are fluent in English at professional business level. We also value if you have a multidisciplinary background beyond developing web applications, e.g. embedded software, mathematics, or statistics.
We believe that in addition to hiring the best talent, a diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures leads to the creation of a better work environment and services.
