As an FPGA Specialist Engineer you will work in a team with around 12-15 colleagues. In this position the key responsibility is to set architectural direction for the FPGA design within new embedded product platforms across the entire Markem-Imaje product range. This would include development of technical solutions to meet the needs of multiple print technologies, FPGA component selection working with the global sourcing function and the development of reusable modules to support common functionality across the products. This work will require interactions and detailed technical communications with other electrical and software engineers in Sweden, France, England and the United States. Other key responsibilities would include documentation of the architecture and module designs as well as implementation of a training program for the development teams across the global R&E organization. This position will require 1-3 international trips per year. The position is placed in Gothenburg.
Who are you?
You have a bachelors or more preferable a master degree in the field of electrical engineering.
A long experience from the field of electronical engineering and experience from complex product (electro-mechanical) with embedded electronics is strongly prefered.
You are a specialist with at least 7 years of experience in the field of electronics and FPGA design also experience from VHDL and VHDL system design for complex reusable, modularized and optimized system including usage of IP blocks and model simulation is required. Appreciated is experience from ASIC design.
You have good skills and knowledge about all the tools used in your discipline. You are also a good planner and have high documentation skills.
You are convincing and embrace the responsibility and accountability for the results of your technical choises.
