This opportunity will offer you an interesting field of technology, the possibility to work internationally with our colleagues in both MAN and NAVISTAR.
Within Chassis Systems, we are developing embedded systems and functions like Air generation, Braking, Levelling Control and Steering. We need to meet coming challenges within electrification and autonomy while we continue to improve driving feel and energy consumption. As the current manager continues within Scania, we are now searching for a you to join our management team.
Me as a manager
Me as a manager believes that we should work together in the management team to tackle all the sections deliveries and challenges as a team where we support and guide each other. I also believe that transparency in my leadership is a major key for trust and creditability. I expect you to use both me and the management team to bounce Ideas and thoughts.
The group Steering Controls are responsible of developing redundant steering functions for both manually driven and autonomous vehicles plus driver support functions e.g., Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Collision Prevention. We also work with improving the steering precision and interfacing other vehicle systems for autonomous vehicles.
Your tasks
In your role, you are responsible for leading and developing the team in order to ensure conditions for the team's deliveries in the daily work, as well as strategically.
You support with priorities in product development, ensure that the group has the customer in mind and ensure a long-term horizon for both product, process and competence.
Your profile
We are looking for you who have well-grounded leadership experiences, preferably from a management position. We believe you are driven by developing your team and by that reaching goals of product & solution deliveries to our customers.
To be successful in your role you need to both understand the details that might hinder us and as well the overall solution with customer value, strategy and cost. As a leader, you believe in building relationships with teams and stakeholders, inspiring and motivating others to work towards a goal.
As a person you have a can-do-mentality, are proactive and encouraged by challenges and last but not least - we expect you to contribute to our open and collaborative environment within the ESC management team.
You have a background within systems development and a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent. You communicate fluently in english, spoken as well as written, and if you dont yet have the knowledge in Swedish you should have the ambition to learn.
