Retail & Food Services AB is a leading distributor and wholesaler of Duty Free & Travel Retail products in Northern Europe to a number of large vendors within mainly the transport sector, but also to airports, portshops and other Travel Retail distributors. We trade with most of the largest Travel Retail brands in the world and provide our customers with services such as warehouse & logistic solutions, revenue management, marketing material, merchandising & development of shop concepts.
What will you do?
As a Financial Controller you will support our management and business in the fields of accounting, taxes, regulations, supply chain flows, along with internal control and processes. You will have the overall responsibility for making sure reporting to authorities are in time, correct and well documented. You will also be a part of driving various projects to improve our business and ways of working, for example through digitalization, ISO certification or preparing work material for tenders. You will also help in the measurement and improvement of KPIs related to our warehouse and logistics.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Responsible for accounts receivables and payables
• Support in monthly closings
• Annual report and income tax declaration
• Transfer pricing reporting to the Group and intercompany reconciliations, including country-by-country reporting
• Excite duty reporting and declaration, VAT and Intrastat reporting
• Internal controls along with making sure we comply with Group's accounting principles
• Reconciliation of the stock and general ledger including price deviations and FX-adjustments
• Support the warehouse in the inventory stock take
• Support the business with accounting expertise and ad hoc issues

Qualifications:
• MSc. in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
• Extensive experience in accounting and/or controlling, preferably from an international business or an audit firm with a special focus on material management (purchasing, warehousing and logistics)
• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
Good to have:
• Previous experience in JD Edwards, Anaplan and Qliksense is a plus
• Previous experience in customs (import / export) is a plus, as well as good knowledge in different European tax legislations
