Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
• Gather, process and monitor financial data for two separate reporting entities, BCGB and BCSE.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Participate in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
• Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial project-related forecasts.
• Monthly review and reconciliation of WIP accounts.
• Work closely with colleagues across two entities: BCGB and BCGB when dealing with various accounting operations (including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition).
• Monitor project margins and report of any variances.
• Monthly project risk management liaising with Operations to identify any problem areas, with Sales regarding revenue recognition and debt collection.
• VAT accounting.
• Collaborating closely with the external/internal audit team and liaising with external personnel as required.
• Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making processes.
• Assisting the Finance/HR Manager in presenting reports to senior management, stakeholders and board members.
• Establish and maintain a well-defined quality system across the Finance function.
We are looking for you who have:
• You fit to this position if you bring proven working experience at Financial Accountant level (ideally 5 years of experience preferred working for multinational companies).
• A finance-related degree and/or professional qualification.
• Good communication skills, advanced computer skills in MS Office.
• Accounting software and databases and an hands-on-mentality.
• Fluency in English is a must.
