We are looking for a Factory Manager for the Transformers Business Unit in Figeholm, Sweden. In this role you will manage all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & Operational Excellence and Logistics. The factory employs roughly 100 people and is focusing on insulation material products for transformers business.
Your responsibilities
Implement the global business unit manufacturing strategy in the country within the area of responsibility.
Develop proactive strategies to increase business profits, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
Ensure achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
Lead and manage manufacturing function and operation teams and processes.
Drive quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking to continuously improve processes.
Deliver operational/project targets (e.g. ROTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS).
Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units.
Ensure a safe working environment, and continuous improvement in HSE process and integrity performance.
Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed.
Your background
Experience in a senior management role of manufacturing unit
Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead people
Strong expertise, knowledge and understanding of production plans; especially quality, safety and continuous improvement
Strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
University Degree in Engineering or similar
