The International School of Älmhult has grown rapidly since it opened in 1999 and has a current population of over 400 students. The school was authorised for The International Baccalaureate's Primary Years Programme in May 2003 and for The Middle Years Programme in May 2009. The school is international and has a friendly atmosphere. The classes are small and all lessons are held in English.
WORK TASKS
The tasks for this post will be to:
• teach in EYP classes, students age 3-5 years
• undertake all teaching responsibilities as outlined by IBO and the school
• attend required meetings and educations
• assist the teacher in the classrooms
• work interdisciplinary with staff at the school and other schools
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant will have an adequate level of education (preschool teacher or equal) in appropriate subjects. The applicant must be flexible and able to respond to the needs of a changing team within a growing workplace.
You must be excited by the development of the school and be able to think independently to make good decisions. Our school is multi cultural and you must have an interest in working in an international environment with different cultures. Collaboration is a key word in our school.
IBO teaching experience and IBO Courses gives you an advantage in this recruitment.
