We are now looking for a curious and driven person who would like to drive the accounting questions on projects and ensure high quality standards in accounting and reporting within the area of Real Estate and Fixed Assets accounting.
What you'll do
You will actively be involved in projects and ad-hoc questions as well as contribute to the improvement and standardization of current processes. In monthly closings you will take an active and leading role in ensuring high quality reporting within the area of Fixed Assets and Real Estate accounting. Reporting according to IFRS16 Leasing will also be part of your scope. In your role you will also ensure the quality of the Annual reports in our Real Estate Companies as well as the Fixed Asset areas in our operational entities.
You will be part of the Financial Accounting Team. We have today three positions located in Gothenburg working with Real Estate and Fixed Assets accounting and colleagues at our Global Accounting Centre in Madrid. You will co-operate with colleagues within Finance and other business units and functions locally and globally, with the purpose of driving value creation, provide accounting expertise and guidance and make change happen.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you need to have a desire and drive for change and be comfortable with complex accounting questions in according to Swedish GAAP (K3/RFR2) and IFRS within the area of responsibility. It is valuable if you have experience of Real Estate accounting and/or Fixed Asset accounting. Your analysis capabilities and computer skills are strong, and you possess abilities to grasp the big picture. If you have experience working in SAP R/3 and Hyperion FM it's an advantage. In addition to the above you have a university degree in Finance and relevant working experience, and you are fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and written.
Personal qualities like high integrity and ability to uphold standards of professionalism and confidentiality are valued. You need to be curious and be flexible to handle short notice situations. Since you will be a member of a team and a key contact person, work well with others will be a key factor such as also ability to engage people.
