For our client, a well-known international company, Experis AB is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant for a long-term assignment. The position is requested to start asap.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sharing the responsibility for monthly closing with the Accounting Manager. Checking compliance with Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish tax rules. Responsible for accounting statistics. Together with the Accounting Manager ensure closing on time with quality. Assist in other ad hoc and regular internal reporting regarding tax and accounting. Checking compliance with Nordic tax rules. Participate in various projects regarding tax and accounting. Work with improvements of accounting and tax processes. Responsible for proper statistics reporting.
JOB SCOPE
Perform closing activities according to schedule.
Assist in cost analysis in monthly closing.
Make reconciliations of assigned accounts.
Check if bookings and documentation are compliant with tax regulations in the Nordic countries.
Actively contribute to improve the way we work by finding solutions to identified waste.
Gather, calculate and report financial statistics to SCB
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Academic degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting or equivalent. Experience from handling tax questions. Good understanding of tax related questions and their impact on accounting. Experience from big 4 audit firm, minimum of 4 years. Experience from working with international companies is desirable. SAP knowledge/experience is desirable.
As a person you are structured and accurate, have a strong sense of responsibility, a high integrity, analytical, flexible and easy to communicate with, driven and proactive. Excellent English both in writing and speaking.
