If you are interested in working with state-of-the-art designs and technologies, working with skilled designers from different subject areas, then this is a real opportunity for you. You will work in a diverse international environment in close cooperation with other design sites across the world.
We are now looking for a Developer, for ASIC Backend & STA, to ensure coming digital ASICs are performing per requirements and that it is introduced into coming product development programs according to the plans.
This role reports to Line Manager of SoC Integration and Backend.
You will
* Work with all Backend related activities such as: synthesis, constraints development, initial place & routing etc.
* Be part of multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
* Be able to grow in your profession and as a person
To be successful in the role you must have
* BSc or MSc level in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other equivalent education.
* At least 5 years of work experience
* Good understanding of VHDL or System Verilog
* Significant experience from Static Timing Analysis and timing sign off
* Significant experience of EDA tools for Synthesis & Timing/Area/Power closure
* Knowledge in scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL, Linux Shell scripting etc.)
* Experience from UNIX/Linux
* Communication and presentation skills in English
* Quality-consciousness
Following experience will be a beneficial asset
* Multi/Many Core CPU Architecture Knowledge a plus
* Experience from source code repositories such as Clear Case and Git
* Experience with Synopsis Spyglass, Primetime, Design Compiler & Formality
* Knowledge about mobile communication standards is an advantage.
* Knowledge of floor planning and physical implementation is an advantage
* Leadership experience
* Telecom knowledge
