There are still many challenges ahead of us and we are looking for experienced Electronics Engineers with a genuine interest in hardware design to strengthen our Electronics team within Tech & Ref and EVP.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As part of the Electronics team you will participate in product development projects targeting our future generation of products.
Your main tasks will be to:
Perform feasibility studies of electronic design Have contact with electronics suppliers, evaluate solutions and select new suitable components Create electronic design schematics Order and follow up prototypes from EMS partners Perform tests and verifications of electronic design Support other electronics engineers within Axis
The electronic design will be done in close cooperation with PCB CAD engineers in order to create an optimal hardware design. You will also handle contacts with component distributors, subcontractors and manufacturers. You will thus be responsible for the electronics design in the project from start to finish.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We expect you to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and have good understanding of system level design of complex products combined with deep knowledge within both analog and digital design.
You have professional experience from working with all parts of the product development cycle ranging from early stages of conceptual and system level design, through the design and verification phase as well as final EMC and regulatory approvals. Designing electronics in schematic capture programs, hands-on verification of the electronics design in advanced lab environment is part of your everyday business. Experience from product development targeted for high volume production will be considered as a plus.
You are expected to have a good understanding of other areas within engineering and the ability to collaborate with other disciplines such as software and mechanical design teams. Whenever needed you are also comfortable in taking a lead position in the design team and help others with planning and solving any issues in a proactive and efficient way.
We believe that you are a highly motivated and outgoing person with good communication skills in both English and Swedish. You are also able to work efficiently both individually with limited supervision as well as within a team of other highly skilled engineers.

THE ELECTRONICS TEAM WITHIN TECH & REF
Together with PCB CAD we are responsible for design and development of HW Reference Designs (that are the base for new camera projects) and Test Boards for new Camera ASICs and sensors. We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with the Technology organization and camera design units within R&D to develop our future products. We also work in close cooperation with units responsible for sourcing, production and product management.
We are looking for an experienced engineer with qualification according to above but also solid experience in power supply design (SMPS), evaluation and testing.

THE ELECTRONICS TEAM WITHIN EXTENDED VIDEO PRODUCTS (EVP)
The EVP team at Axis is responsible for finding new and innovative solutions for our main segment video surveillance. This includes accessories, thermal cameras, video encoders, divided concept cameras and much more. The team is a quick and adaptive team that face many different challenges daily. As an electronics engineer in the EVP team you will be given big responsibilities and a great opportunity to make your mark on the future success of Axis. You will be part of the whole development process from concept to launched product.
We are looking for engineers that are self-sufficient, quick to adapt, responsible, driven and strides to understand the whole picture. Since we invent new products and solutions, not only do we need to be innovative but we also need to understand the customer demand.
