IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
We are looking for an experienced Back End Developer to join the EBO team. Our group is delivering IT within the Sales Eco-system.
The group "Attributes & Configuration" within Sales IT is responsible for developing services and IT to Sales & Marketing at Scania. The work we are performing covers the complete system development process, from concept development and analysis to development, implementation and production releases.
We are now expanding our capacity to meet future requirements / upgrade a monolith application / and are looking for a new experienced Back End Developer. You have a genuine interest in software development and you will be working with one of the most central applications in our sales eco-system and will meet a lot of stakeholders within the Scania organisation.
Your background:
• You have solid experience, +5 years as a Back End developer
• Bachelors degree in computer science or Masters degree in computer science (or similar experience)
• You have experience in and appreciate agile working methods
• Communication skills in Swedish (good) or English (must)
• Experience from the transportation industry is meriting
Technical demands on the role:
• SOLID Design Principles
• MVVM Design pattern
• Jira, Kanban
• .Net, C#, SQL, Entity Framework, WPF, WCF, Gitlab, Teamcity
• Datadog, Redis, AWS, Docker/Kubernets, Sonarcube
• Experience from working with / building microservice architecture

• Solution-orientated; being able to quickly find solutions to problems that arise.

The team:
We are a medium-sized team that currently works according to the kanban model. We put a lot of emphasis on code style, cleanliness and robustness. Together with the other members in your agile development team you are responsible for all artifacts the team develops. You will be involved in architectural matters as well as development, testing and release handling issues.
