Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a holistic view to take on an important role where you will work with details as well as the big picture. Passion about solving accounting related questions and challenges will be an important trait.
The role may encompass helping in implementing strategies and assisting in building a base to assure future efficiency and transparency. You will be involved in improving processes and managing risks. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, co:spirit environment. You like the challenge of not always knowing what you will be doing or how.
Responsibilities and tasks
Daily bookkeeping, could be end-to-end for a smaller entity or focusing on a core area for a larger entity
Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process
Provide input to the monthly reporting
Participate in internal and external audits
Aiding continuously improved efficiency and transparency
Decide on accounting of Investments and Assets, ensure compliance
Help with accounting expertise and give support to the organization
Involved in policy, process and routines development and improvement
Ad hoc tasks and participation in financial projects
Required skills:
University degree, MBA or equivalent and a few years of work experience within accounting.
Interested in new technologies and system.
Experience from driving / participating in projects.
Fluency in English - both oral and written, Excellent communication skills.
Preferred skills:
Experience from a Shared Services context
SAP experience
