GROUP EXPANSION

ABOUT YOU

In this role you need to have advanced training in Project Leadership, Retail Layout or equivalent and minimum 5 years of IKEA store experience. You also have experience from implementation of the Retail Establishment Process, preferably as Retail Project Leader, and in shop design and execution. Furthermore, you are experienced in creating action and resource planning and you have multicultural experience.
You have knowledge in:
• the Retail Establishment Process, incl the execution phases
• the IKEA retailing concept and IKEA range presentation
• project execution in a defined time frame
• way to phase a project to secure most efficient implementation
• IKEA concept, brand objectives and vision
• way to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA
• IKEA multichannel shopping experience
As a person you are able to create efficient time plans, making optimal use of time and resources as well as to prioritize work. You understand customer needs in order to challenge common ways. You work and perform with flexibility and simplicity and you are appreciated for communicating and presenting clearly within your specific area of expertise using IKEA tone of voice.
ABOUT THE JOB
As an Establishment Specialist you will be responsible for creating the implementation planning for the new Customer Meeting Points (CMPs) and major rebuilds with high quality, including resource planning. You will also support the market organisation during the execution phase of the project.
You will:
• be responsible for creating implementation planning of CMP solutions delivered by project leaders and the planning team
• be responsible for creating resource planning for the establishment of the CMPs
• support countries with borrowed staff and specialist competence not available in the market
• collaborate with the market organisation on the project implementation phases and resource planning
• support the market organisation during the establishment of the CMPs (regular visits)
• support several projects in parallel
• support market with relevant financial inputs for the Investment Request
• work across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units
• drive an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values
In this role you will report to the Planning Project Manager.
