Sourcing within Business Unit Networks has the responsibility for defining and executing sourcing and component engineering services. The organization supports overall BNET business objectives by establishing a supplier and component base that delivers competitive pricing while maintaining high quality, flexibility and delivery precision. BNET Sourcing is a global organization with 300 employees.
We are looking for our next Sourcing Data Managers.
Job description
As a Sourcing Data Manager, you will be part of an international team responsible for providing the Strategic Sourcing organization with forecast information on component level for the complete BNET product portfolio. This task is performed monthly in order to provide current demand data during the supplier negotiation process. High qualitative forecast information is a prerequisite to reach high agreement coverage, minimize supply disturbances and meet price reduction targets.
Your responsibility will be to maintain forecast data for purchased material within the Microwave Networks or the Core & IMS product areas. Special focus should be given to verification of quality regarding data loading and end results. Part of your responsibility is also to maintain information in our Sourcing systems, such as product structures, forecasts and data regarding agreement responsibility. You will be a key player in product knowledge sharing for the Sourcing organization.
As a Sourcing Data Manager, you will also participate in or lead various process- and tools development projects within the Programs & Operational Excellence function of BNET Sourcing. You will also perform various Sourcing analysis work.
You will work in an international environment in close cooperation with your team, the buyers in the Strategic Sourcing organization (both Components and EMS), our factories and the Demand Management & Planning department within BNET Supply. This is a diverse role that will give you a deep understanding of Ericsson's sourcing processes, Supply Chain set-up and product portfolio. For the successful candidate we can offer broad development opportunities.
The positions are based either in Mölndal or Älvsjö/Kista, both in Sweden.
Qualifications
Academic degree or equivalent job experience (Bachelor of Science in Engineering ("Högskoleingenjör"), Master of Science in Engineering ("Civilingenjör"), Bachelor of/Master of Science in Economics (Civilekonom) or equivalent job experience.
Previous work experience within Sourcing and/or Production Planning and knowledge of the Ericsson product portfolio is an advantage. A track record in delivering good results is a must. Fluency in English and Swedish and proficiency in the MS Office suite (specifically Excel and Access) are essential.
Personal skills
To succeed in this position, you should have a strong interest in Strategic Sourcing and a strong technical interest in order to learn about the Ericsson product portfolio. As person you should be service and quality minded, self driven and structured. You must enjoy working independently, as well as together with others in a multicultural environment.
Personal stability and good interpersonal and communication skills are needed since the position includes a lot of internal and external contacts. You must also have good analytical skills and be flexible, with an excellent overview and sense of focus in order to solve problems, often under time pressure. Finally, to develop yourself and this position, a genuine interest in continuous development of processes and tools is an advantage.
