hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer in Equipment Purchasing Team to join our passionate team in Skellefteå or Västerås.
Our challenge
We are a team of 6 professionals with various background and nationalities.
We procure equipment for manufacturing of battery cells and we plan to significantly grow both as a Northvolt and as a team.
At the current stage we already procured mass production equipment for our pilot plant in Västerås and first phase of Giga factory ETT in Skellefteå and are about to initiate business awarding phase for second plant in Germany as well as further massive expansion of ETT. We plan to spend more than 3bn USD on the horizon of next 2 years.
We procure and deliver the heart and muscles of the production plant, challenges are what we live for.
Your challenge, if you join us
You will play essential role in the execution part of the equipment purchasing project from Equipment delivery at site till start of mass production
You will manage Equipment Supplier Contract during Installation and commissioning phase and steer the communication in between of the supplier and cross-functional Northvoltt Team
After Start of Production you will manage Supplier Service Level Agreements and Equipment Maintenance, Operations and Repair Procurement activities

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
A degree in Engineering, MSc or MBA/Relevant University Degree
Working experience of more than 2 years in project purchasing or project management function
Strong project management fundamentals
Experience with multi-cultural business relationship is a clear plus
Very good team player, able to influence and convince other team members and project stakeholders
Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish, Chinese, Japanese is a plus
Highly organised and result-driven
Exceptionally good problem-solving skills
Can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
