Husqvarna have a large landscape of applications to support all the different needs within a global manufacturing company. Different kind of application and product development is done in various areas.
In the role of Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for the application landscape, on an Enterprise level. You will use your skills to create and maintain Target Architecture for Husqvarnas applications. You will continuously develop your competence and be on the edge of your expertise.
Your future challenge
To succeed in this role you have to be a person with specialist experience in IT applications with a genuine it background in the application architecture domain. and be passionate to seek knowledge to be updated as well as able to share this knowledge with others.
Unit Description
As Enterprise Architecture - application you will be organized in the Global Information System organization, GIS. This in the department, Enterprise Architecture. Your location will primarily be Huskvarna, Sweden
GIS (Global Information Services), the IT department of Husqvarna AB, is responsible for the delivery of IT-services throughout the group. The organization is based at the major hub sites Huskvarna, Shanghai and Charlotte (US) and delivers its services globally.
Your role
• Provide expertise in the area of applications.
• Communicate understanding and knowledge of the overall application landscape.
• Drive a consolidation and move to cloud agenda.
• Responsible for application portfolio management.
• Plan, coordinate strategies and roadmaps.
• Coordination with other domain & solution architects within GIS.
• Explore new channels/approaches.
• Provide Governance for Architecture Decisions and Compliance.
• Perform Current-Future gap analysis and business value analysis regarding Applications and Services.
• Perform architecture blueprint support in strategic projects.
Who you are
• Bachelor's or Master Degree in Computer Science or similar experience in from relevant area.
• Strong experience in IT applications.
• Experience from application portfolio management from a business oriented view is an advantage.
• You have a good sense for the bigger picture rather than getting into details.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Swedish as well as English.
• Senior Architecture experience.
• Flexibility and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced atmosphere.
