We're now seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager who combines technical depth with inspiring leadership. You'll play a key role in driving the evolution of our cloud platform - leading a talented software team, influencing architectural direction, and ensuring we continue to deliver world-class, scalable solutions to customers around the globe.
The Role:
• Lead and mentor a team of skilled software engineers building cloud-native services and APIs powering Pricer's connected retail ecosystem.
• Stay close to the technology - engage in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and occasionally contribute to code.
• Drive best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure to ensure quality, security, and performance at scale.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and Operations to align technology with strategic goals and delivery timelines.
• Encourage innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement - fostering a culture where engineers take ownership and pride in their work.
• Champion a modern, agile approach to software delivery with clear, measurable impact.
Who we are looking for:
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Senior Software Engineer in a cloud-first environment.
• A genuine passion for mentoring people and teams, developing talent, and enabling others to do their best work.
• Strong background in software development (Java, C#, or similar) and a solid grasp of distributed systems and API design.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud development, including containerized or microservice-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring at scale.
• The mindset of a builder - proactive, curious, and eager to take ownership of both challenges and results.
• Previous experience as Agile Coach or Scrum Master is advantageous
