Are you ready to lead the way in data innovation at NOBA Bank Group? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Data & Analytics Engineering team!
Data & Analytics Engineering is currently defining global subgroups focused on backend, frontend, and data management. As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-country team, in Norway and Stockholm, and play a crucial role in advancing our data technology and personnel. Your responsibilities include guiding data initiatives, overseeing data solution development, and collaborating across various parts of the bank. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth, including global leadership development and engagement in exciting projects like the Common Data Platform, global data modeling, and new business reporting.

Lead one of the teams within Data & Analytics Engineering
Oversee data-related solutions and projects within the Analytics Engineering area.
Provide technical guidance and oversight for data solutions.
Assume partial product ownership or technical lead responsibilities.
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, datasets, consumer-specific models, and data marts.
Drive the creation and maintenance of a common data platform for future global use.
Manage stakeholder relationships and drive change within the team.
Recruit and develop talent within the team.

We are looking for someone who:
Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.
Has a minimum of 5 years of work experience in data engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Possesses strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team of data professionals.
Has in-depth knowledge of data engineering and analytics principles, tools, and technologies, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and data visualization.
Is proficient in Microsoft on-premise and cloud data solutions, including MS SQL, SSIS, PBI, Azure Data Bricks, DBT, and Python.

It is advantageous if you:
Have project and product management skills, including experience with data-related project planning and execution.
Is fluent in one of the Nordic languages
