We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer with interest in Software architectural work and implementation on smaller embedded systems.The most important aspect for us is your personality and what you bring as a person. What you would do as an Embedded Software Developer within this division:
In this role you will mainly work on Connectivity gateways, Man machine interfaces and Sliding doors. You would also:
Drive the architectural and implementation work for our Man machine interfaces
Take responsibility for the maintenance of legacy Sliding door software
Serve as a trusted and valued advisor for the team regarding design decisions and design tools
Keep the current and future platforms modular, re-usable and maintainable
Mentor the team of embedded software developers in the daily work within your specialist area
Collaborate with stakeholders such as SMs and POs and breakdown product requirement into technical architecture
Estimate features and user stories
The skills and experience we would like to see
We hope that you have experience in building embedded software with a modular-, reuse- and testability mindset, but most off all we are looking forward to meeting a curious and humble person that wants to grow in our team of developers with mixed age and gender.
Ideally, you have gathered some form of working experience in a similar industry as you will be required to have basic understanding of the skills listed below.
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge in C/C++ and RTOS
Knowledge with building and using microcontroller-based platforms, RTOS and tools
Wireless technologies such as BLE, Zigbee etc.
Knowledge with Agile methodologies in embedded software development
Knowledge in modern software development including automated testing, continuous integration etc.
Fluency in both Swedish and English will be required.
Following skills and experience are meriting but not required:
Experience with communication protocols (Zigbee, NFC/ISO14443, UWB, Bluetooth), mobile access
Knowledge of current standards and trends in IoT connectivity standardization and cybersecurity
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
