About the job
Our R&D department is expanding, and we are now looking for an electronic engineer to join our team at the global headquarters in Danderyd, Sweden. Together with colleagues, you will contribute to the further development of technology within our existing devices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build their technical career with exposure to the latest and most advanced technology on the market.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Lead electronic development for new medical devices over full product life cycle.
Concept design and evaluation for future products.
Prototype development and hands-on testing.
Collaborate with suppliers and contractors on current and future development projects.
Generate test protocols and reports for validation and verification of electronic design as per ISO 13485 and IEC 60601.
Assist in the development of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
Communicate with customers to determine research and development requirements for new products.
Skills and Experience
5 years' experience in an electronic R&D environment (Minimum 3 from Medical Devices).
Experience of product development under ISO 13485 and IEC 60601.
Strong electronic engineering fundamentals in electronic circuit design/development with microcontroller-based embedded systems.
Experience in concept generation and systems design.
Experience in prototype development.
Knowledge C/C++ software development.
Knowledge of regulations that apply in consumer and medical electronic products.
Awareness of manufacturing/assembly process and techniques.
Requirements
Bachelor 's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Problem solver.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven leadership abilities.
Must be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Must be able and willing to visit USA, China and other areas for business related travel.

Sedana Medical is a listed Swedish MedTech company manufacturing and selling the anaesthetic agent delivery system AnaConDa. In addition, Sedana Medical is transitioning into a pharmaceutical company by developing its own pharmaceutical candidate for inhaled sedation.
We have direct sales in the Nordic countries, Germany, France, Great Britain, Benelux, and Spain, with plans to expand into further EU territories over the next year. We are collaborating with external distributors in parts of the rest of Europe, Australia, Canada, and Asia. Medium-term, we are planning for launch in US.
